At this point, you can quit the game and select the "A" option twice and sell your treasure for 10, gold 9, if you keep the Launcher.
Another thing you can do is continue to to the northeastern most island for an optional step worth gold. After boarding the northeastern most island, head toward the fancy skull display and destroy the gazelle skull for an Emerald Pear. Head the the village square and climb the left tower for a Chalice Silver. Whether this extra 3, is worth the trip is up to you.
