Suppressors and brakes are on you. Stocks are available in two colors: As I mentioned, the guns can be purchased as scoped packages.

Both calibers ship with a Nikko Stirling Diamond x 44 scope. This is a first focal plane scope.

The scope has dual illumination: Both the gun and the scope come with a lifetime warranty. The gun also carries a one MOA guarantee with good ammo, of course. An advocate of gun proliferation zones, Richard is a long time shooter, former cop and internet entrepreneur.

If you believe a Carcano is capable of that accuracy…………I was alive and watched it, still do not believe the lies. The gun is almost as awesome as the cartridge. This Howa or the Savage 10 BA Stealth? I am also looking to get into the 6.

Both are about the same price. Dont know, like I said I dont own anything that fires this caliber yet. But both companies have pretty solid reps. On a strictly aesthetic level I prefer the non tacticool look.

If you already got a scope, then the Savage might be good. But if not, then the Howa has definitely the lead with a seemingly good scope already included.

The BA Stealth is a chassis rifle, and Howa also makes one that is in the same price range. The difference bsides being slightly lighter is that this Howa has a MOA set of rings, while their chassis rifle has 20 MOA rings, which you really need to get really far out. Personally, I am not familiar with this stock or how it compares to the various Hogue stocks that Howa sells. Bell and Carlson IMHOunless they have changed, have always been 3rd,on the fact stock list for varmint style tubes.

Like the Howa finish, and buy shares in tinkle you won regret it, but unless they have shortened their throats, and tightened chamber specs I would stick with the Savage. Yea, for once, a post on the internet may turn into a sale from me.

I built just such a gun on my own 4 years ago. Used a Bushnell 10x mil-dot scope with mil adjustments. OK for guys with LARGE hands but makes for a terribly long trigger reach for guys with average or short hands like me. Required some noodling and modding of the stock in that area….

As someone here mentioned, this is essentially a Weatherby Vanguard…. Altogether a great and under-rated rifle. A good Rock 5R, or a Bartlein 5r is GTG for at least MOA till k rounds if cleaned and shot properly.
