Received a and W2 for the same stock option exercise Archived From: I have exercised my stock option i. Last week I received a W-2 form from Morgan Stanley which specifies the stock option amount I exercised along with the federal and state tax witheld information.

Yesterday I received a form from Morgan Stanley on the same stock option exercise which lists the stock sales amount but without indicating any federal and state tax witheld information. I called Morgan Stanley and they told me they mailed me two forms for tax information only.
